In a May 11, 2009, piece entitled “Economic Downturn Raising Suicide Risk Factors Among Attorneys” by Lynne Marek of the National Law Journal, the Dave Nee Foundation was mentioned as an organization striving to educate law students about depression and prevent suicide among law students. The article also features Dan Lukasik, the founder of Lawyers with Depression and a friend of the Foundation, who has tirelessly worked to raise awareness of depression in the legal community while reducing the stigma of depression among lawyers.
