The Dave Nee Foundation’s 2nd Annual Summer Trivia Night Challenge took place on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012 at Butterfield 8 in Midtown Manhattan with Big Quiz Thing providing the trivia fun.

Eight law firms signed up for the occasion and more than 90 people registered. The event had Dave Nee Foundation supporters, summer associates, and attorneys in attendance - all to earn bragging rights on knowing the most useless trivia in the crowd! There was great team spirit and energy in the air - and it all paid off for the night's biggest winners:

  1. O'Melveny & Myers LLP (Team Name "Loss of Consortium") won the top prize for best name AND the trivia contest.
  2. Anderson, Kill & Olick, P.C. (Team Name "Anderson Kill's Assassins") came in second in the trivia contest.
  3. Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP (Team Name "Check Above the Law Tomorrow") came in third - and just missed the grand prize for the second year in a row. They demand a rematch next year!

All proceeds from the event went directly to the Foundation's work to raise awareness about depression and anxiety, fight stigma on depression, and encourage treatment. Thank you to all our supporters who came out for the event and the following firms:

  • Anderson, Kill & Olick, P.C.
  • Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP
